My mom suffered a fall and had severe brain bleeding. When she was discharged from the hospital after a huge craniotomy, they transferred her to Life Care Center. It's a newer facility, from the fixtures, the decorations, the overall aesthetic is absolutely beautiful. It's got all new equipment in the therapy and mom really loves the therapy and the activities there. They're doing a wonderful therapy program. Sometimes she feels like she's in a hotel because they have a gourmet cook.
She was admitted on a Friday and on Monday we had a multi-disciplinary team meeting with care plan nurses, social worker, occupational therapist, finance folks, my family and my mom. I was really impressed with that. Although there were few issues, because we're pretty anal about safety initially, especially with a brain injury patient. But any questions or concern that we had we communicated it with the staff.
