I tried to call my mother today at 330pm to tell her Happy mom's day. But her assisted living let it ring for a half hour, then they picked it up and hung up on me couple times. Then the nurse picked up the phone and yelled at me and said she would go get her and then hung up on me again! So i called back, then she picked it up and yelled at me for calling back! I called manager Laura, no response. Everett plaza assisted living is not a safe place. I wish my mom could move, but she is of limited means and a vulnerable adult.

We didn't get to see a lot of Everett Plaza Assisted Living, because everything was in lockdown due to COVID cases. There weren't yards or anything in there. The bathroom didn't have easy access. You had to step up over a tub wall, which looked like a hazard for seniors. We looked at one room that had a kitchen nook in it but it wasn't that accommodating. My mom could not cook or have anything in that room besides having a microwave or a coffee pot. The only plus part was they would take Medicaid and the sales person I talked to was nice. She was friendly in giving us information.

My parents are in Everett Plaza. They've been good. The services and staff are fine and do weekly things with them. My mom and stepdad are in a one-bedroom apartment with a second room that's like a living room and dining room with a bathroom and closets. The dining room is fine. They helped us get them in there, and we've been very happy with the staff.

My grandmother has been staying at the Everett Plaza Assisted Living facility for a little over a year now, and has very few complaints about it. The staff are always helpful, and always remember who you're there for. They have no problem keeping an extra eye out on a relative, if you feel they're not quite acting like themselves. When you look at the rooms they're pretty nice, the basic one is just a studio apartment, that comes with a fridge and a microwave. Residents get 3 meals a day, which a family member can join in on for $5 dollars, and if a resident requests, they can take food home and re-heat it later. There's an area out-back where residents and family can smoke. There's plenty of parking to have several people visit at once, and there's even a room family can rent for a few nights if they want to stay near someone in the facility for a few days. I've watched my grandma scream at the administrator there over her heat not working properly, when it really was, and I don't think I've ever seen anyone act more professional in my life. I was happy how nice and understanding they were, when they didn't even do anything wrong. I feel like it shows that they have a lot of respect for her, and I don't feel like she's in a bad environment. Overall, it's a nice place, and I don't have anything bad to say about it.

I toured the facility various times, visiting residents and observing workers. The people were very nice, but the building itself was dark. This is a lower income building so it is expected to be a less classy, but a little more natural lighting would do the place wonders.
