I toured Atria Encino Terrace. It was nice and clean. It was well-kept and well-maintained. The only thing that I did not particularly care for, was the fact that you had to furnish the room. And it's not that big of a deal, just that I didn't expect that. I wouldn't say that it was a dislike. It just surprised me. The staff was nice. They were friendly. They had a salon there. They provided activities. They had what you would call a physical instructor that would take them, and whether they would exercise to the level of their ability, nothing strenuous, weights or anything like that, but they look to be very involved with the occupants. I think it's a nice place. I think they had a lot to offer. I think anybody living there would be welcomed, and have a pleasant stay.

The staff here is always helpful. If there’s something wrong, there’s always someone who’s willing to help or willing to find the solution to the problem. I really enjoy going being here, especially since I have so many friends.

The staff at Atria Encino Terrace was fabulous. Every single person there has been there for such a long time, and they're happy. They were fantastic. Everybody was smiling. We went by the food area and they were like, "Stay for lunch!" The apartments were beautiful and large. The one they showed us was big. It was like being in a four-star hotel. When you walk into the apartment, you've got the huge walkthrough, and then you've got the big bathroom. It had a big balcony and it was very nice. The staff was fantastic. When we first showed up, our name was provided there, and they were waiting for us to come. She has touched base with me twice just to see if anything's changed. It was nice and clean. They did take us to the game room and the TV room. There were different things to do. The food smelled good.

I toured Atria Encino Terrace for my daughter. I toured both independent living and assisted living. It was clean and the people were very, very nice. I like the outdoor area and the fact that you had someone there that was a beautician. They would provide the transportation if they needed it for people who didn't drive. I understand the food was pretty good, I didn't have it, but that's what I've been told. The staff were lovely, and it was very nice.

I’ve live at this community for over two years. They have loving and caring staff , the activities leader keeps us busy all day long. I join their book club and I’m having the best time. I love this place Julio especially from the maintenance department. Most residents are friendly.

Recently got to a very unpleasant time and life of needing to put my father into assisted-living, spent the last two weeks evaluating dozens of facilities in SoCal and selected here. I’ve been so impressed with Ivan and the entire staff with how accommodating and supportive they have been, in difficult transition, my father loves his room that also has courtyard access and we couldn’t be more pleased! One key consideration, for us was the tenure of staff, unlike other places that have very high turnover which directly impacts how they take care of my father. It’s a little bit farther than I’d like from Santa Clarita where I live but I really like the location and a lot of great places to take my father to when I visit on Ventura Boulevard. I can’t tell you how helpful Ivan has been any day or time of the week when needed, the nurses doctor, all of them so far first rate experience!!

My father stayed at Encino Terrace for Respite Care. They were very professional and caring. The staff was the best and this will be the place to go for any future Respite Care. My dad had all but great things to say about his stay!

I've moved into here. They have many amenities from music appreciation to book club. I have been moving in, so I haven't had time to take advantage of all these things. They have terrific food; I've never eaten better in my whole life. The staff is terrific; the patients are very good. Half the patients are independent living and half are assisted senior living citizens. It's in the middle of all the action like people like to go walking to their favorite restaurants or coffee shops. They love doing that, and it's in the middle of everything. I was in a bad way when I came here a week ago. The first week, they pushed me to the dining room. Now, after four days, I'm pushing myself with a wheelchair. In a week, I'll go with a walker, and the following week hopefully, I'll be able to walk down. I have to walk the whole building to get to the dining hall. They also have some gardens. They have different activities every day. They have a movie every night, exercise twice a day, and have games like bingo, canasta, and lots more. They've charged the least of anybody, too.

It was lovely, but the price of everything they were asking for was out of my budget. The room was also small for the price. I didn't like where the people parked their cars and that there was a smell in a couple of the areas. They're redoing the place, though, and the staff was lovely and seemed very nice.

I like how friendly and open it was. Everybody seemed very helpful there. I liked that they had a private dining room that they allowed members, or people living there, to utilize for having their family come or whatever they wanted to use it for. What I liked least about it was that parking was a little difficult. I saw their independent living and they have open balconies for the members to enjoy. They also had games and different things for them to participate in to help keep them active.

We looked at the assisted living part of Atria Encino Terrace for my father. That one seemed great, and they were very professional and knowledgeable. The rooms were very nice and clean, but a little on the small side. The dining area looked great, and the place seemed well taken care of. The staff was very thorough and very prepared. They seem very well organized and caring.

I toured for my mom, and I thought it was great. The facility was clean, there were good options and choices, they were also very flexible with finding what was within our price range. The rooms were of nice size, and some of them had kitchen efficiencies. They were priced very reasonable comparatively, and the administrator was very supportive and helpful. She showed us all the activities that were going on, and the different rooms where they could play games. They showed us their dining room, and everything was very nice, she helped us to be very informed. We didn't set up a meal sampling, but she did show us the different menus, and you could get things custom made. Also, one thing I liked is that they had a closed off dining room that you could book if you wanted to bring your family over and have a private dinner. They introduced us to different people there, and they introduced us to some of the tenants

My mother will be moving in on Wednesday. She needs assisted living. I like the access, there's parking, it's not a large community, there's not a lot of people, and the amenities. They have bingo, movie room, and coffee room. They have things for her to do. They were working on remodeling it and then Covid hit and they had to stop, so some of the floors are much nicer than others. I didn't see anybody doing any activities probably because of Covid, but they have the availability to do them. They need updating because it's an older building, just paint brighter colors, more of a positive vibe, but I get a feeling they were trying to do that and then got hit with Covid.

Truly the most amazing staff!!! You could have all the amenities but unless you have a great staff none of that will matter...and this place truly has people that care wholeheartedly about their residents!!! I am so grateful for everyone there!!! Especially during these trying times. My father is well taken care of, which gives me such peace. He himself is very happy with the decision to move into the Encino Terrace:-) They are family!
