We have chosen Lacey Creek Supportive Living. We looked at it, and it was nice. It's like assisted living, except for they will take Medicaid to help pay for it. It was nice. It's a newer building. A lot of the COVID restrictions were still in place when we did the tour, but it was nice. They have a nice dining room. It's clean. They have a gym for them to use. They have a library, lots of places to sit, and a nice outside sitting patio area. Everybody was very friendly. The staff I've dealt with, mainly, she is amazing and very helpful. She returns calls in a timely manner. She has a good rapport with residents, too. I saw her talk to them and stuff as we walked through. The accommodation were small, but I think they all area. It's a one-bedroom. It's got a living area, a very large bathroom, and then a small kitchen area that has a refrigerator, a microwave and some cabinets, and a counter that you can put a stool up to. There's a couple of different areas throughout the outside where the residents can go and spend time, and I saw people out there. I remember they were doing a scavenger hunt when we were there, too. They do fun things.

Lacey Creek is a relatively new facility. Its roons are spacious and the cleaning staff do a decent job of maintaining the room. The downside:There are staff to manage medication, however my loved one’s medications were messed up several times which can be dangerous if not caught. Nursing staff have not all been kind and cheerful. Some were rude and abrupt with my relative. I was disappointed to hear the way they were dealing with elde some staff there less than professional with their demeanor and playing on their phones too. The activities are decent, but their elevator to the lower level broke down almost 2 months ago and had yet. The lower level had the movie theater, exercise room, library and beauty salon. Considering the high amount residents pay per month ( about 5,000), this should be fixed. Overall I am disappointed.
