I am a friend or relative of resident
My father spent the last few weeks of his life in this facility when we could no longer provide the home care necessary for his hospice needs. As he was still functional, he was included in the more active senior group. He was lovingly treated by the very attentive staff; forged friendships that my mother and I still maintain, and ultimately, when he became too ill, his symptoms and comfort needs were completely and compassionately provided by the staff at Watson Fields. As a physician and Hospice and Palliative Care Specialist myself, I cannot imagine a facility better able to insure your loved ones' care. Also, though our family was not able to fully appreciate the services for more active seniors due to my father's illness, this facility far and away surpassed the local options in providing a full and engaging set of activities for seniors, multiple options for engaging with other residents, competent health care, excellent food (I was welcomed, free of charge to share several meals with my dad, and my mother dined every evening with him). At any rate, I cannot possibly share with you how much Watson Fields helped both my father and our entire family. I recommend the facility completely and without any reservations!

I am a friend or relative of a resident
I'm employed at Maple Suites retirement home in Dover, NH, and often our residents will move to assisted living facilities if they can no longer live comfortably on their own. Sadie, a resident and friend of mine, was transferred to Watson Fields when she became ill with pancreatic cancer. Shortly before she passed away, I went to Watson Fields to visit her. It was a pretty nice place and the people there were kind to her, but all the same it made me sad because it was so unlike Maple Suites. Instead of there being happy, independent senior citizens, most of the men and women who lived there were very sick. But as far as the actual facility and the staff were concerned, it seemed like she and the other residents were well taken care of. The rooms had comfortable beds and chairs in them and there was an activity room where the residents could socialize. I never tried the food, but Sadie said that she thought it was pretty good.
