Mom moved into Dover Place. Everyone's very friendly, and accommodating. I went there twice before I made a decision. It's small, and it's very, client-centered. The nursing staff and all the staff, including the front desk people, and the cook in the kitchen were very nice and even the janitor. It felt very homey. It didn't feel like an institution, but more like another home for her. The rooms are very nice. We have an efficiency, which is nice, and has a nice bathroom, a little sink with a little microwave, and a little refrigerator. So if she wants to have company or something, she can do that. I saw the menu there and it looked good. My mom was just getting adjusted to being there. It's like going to a restaurant, serving you your food, you have the menus, and you pick what you want. My mother can't read or write English, she's Korean, so they help her with the choices. They have music there, they had a high school band there playing music. They have a physical therapist. She's there every day doing exercises with them. I came around Christmas time and the whole floor was nothing but Christmas trees, big Christmas trees. I like that kind of spirit. So it was just decorated, really nice, just very clean.

Dover Place was very nice. It was laid out well and very functional as far as the amenities they have. My mother seems to like the environment there. All the residents were friendly. Everything looked very good there. The staff was friendly, answered all my questions, elaborated on the services, and explained everything that we needed to know to make a good decision. They showed us one of the rooms that they use for respite care, which was laid out very nicely. It's a functional room that has everything somebody would need. It had a mini refrigerator and microwave. It was like a studio. They have various common areas where they hold various activities, like bingo and arts and crafts. They have a bistro there where residents can get coffee, tea, and light snacks. They have a salon and a nursing station.

My father has been in Dover Place for six weeks now. It's a very nice place. People are very friendly. He seems to have adjusted very well. He has a very nice room. It's a nice-sized room. It's comfortable. The building is very well kept up. The staff are very friendly and very easy to talk to. Their dining area is very nice, and the food must be good because my father has put on weight since he's been there. For activities, they have things going on every day. They have bingo, they have music, and they have therapy dogs come in. Those are just a few of the things off the top of my head. I would highly recommend it.

Dover Place was very well organized. It had a community vibe where they were trying to get people to work together and build a community there and trying to get activities as well as trying to physically strengthen the elderly. The staff were very friendly. They had a library, physical therapy nurses, a round the clock nurse, and a schedule of events where they had a musician that came every other day and a bunch of volunteers for different events. They had haircuts, full dining facilities, a breakfast, and a garden.

Dover Place was a more robust facility. Everything was well taken care of. The aesthetics throughout the building were very nice. I spoke with a woman by the name of Cecilia, and she was very, very accommodating and very pleasant. She showed me around the entire facility, and we looked at different rooms. The rooms had kitchenettes with a sink, a refrigerator, and cabinetry. I was very much impressed with the facility and the amenities. They had a nursing station with 2 available nurses on staff and a medical office. They had nice dining facilities. The dining room looked more like a restaurant. I did see the menus and they looked pretty standard. But they said that if the residents wanted something different, they would accommodate those. I did see some breakfasts and some lunches, and everything looked fresh. The plating and the appearance of the food looked good.

My parents have moved into Dover Place. The staff is very welcoming and very caring. They assess the individual's needs and provide care for that individual. The staff is the reason that it's such a great place. My parents really enjoy the food. They have lots of activities. They have bingo. They have craft classes. They have pet therapy. They have Wii bowling, which is hilarious. They have card games. They have jigsaw puzzles. They have story time. They bring in pastors from different churches. There are a ton of activities. They also have a few more choices in the apartment set-up. My parents moved into a two bedroom, and this place has two separate bedrooms.
