The Presbyterian Village North impressed me very favorably. I visited it twice, once in the spring of the year, and my second visit was in September or October. It was very attractive both inside and out. Just some very nice features there. It was perhaps the most expensive place that I visited, and that gave me some pause, but it was a very attractive feeling. And then the person that showed me around me, her name was Heather, who was very accommodating, helpful and followed up in a friendly but not a pushy way. Also, they had a backup generator that would power them independently for a while.

Presbyterian Village North impressed me the most. The residents seemed happy above all. The facilities look great. So I was impressed with it more than with the others. The food was adequate for sure. I think they did a good job. No problems. They're dealing with a terrible dilemma with a bunch of old folks. They're doing the best they can.

The Presbyterian Village North was very nice. They had some stand-alone garden homes, or patio homes is what they call them. The staff that gave the tour was very nice. They have transportation available to various places. We looked at the patio home, not the apartments because the apartments were under construction when we went. The patio homes were very nice and they had some bathroom accessible issues for the wheelchair. They have kitchens in the patio homes, and they have a dining area in the apartments, but the apartments were still under construction. The facility was very well-maintained and very nice-looking.

I toured the Presbyterian Village North. They had very good security. Their grounds were excellent, well-kept, with lots of trees and flowers, and a lot of greenery. It's a quiet neighborhood, and the little houses or cottages have been kept up and remodeled, so all the facilities look new. There's nice amenities, it was an excellent place, it did have a big enough living room on it, and it had an extra, like a den to it, or an office, whatever you needed it to be. It had an extra room with the two bedrooms and two baths. It's very bright. The only drawback for me was the location of the unit they had available. I didn't care for that. It was close to Forest Lane, sort of backed up to Forest Lane, and I live close to 635, so I didn't want traffic noise. The staff member, Paige, was excellent. I didn't see a dining area because there was a lot of construction, they're building some more units, and the main building where the dining area was is in the middle of the construction area right now. Instead of going to the dining room, they're delivering the meals to everybody so they don't have to go through the construction. They get construction on both sides of the building, and it makes it a little hard for people to get to it, but the grounds and the walking paths were manicured very nicely. They have all kinds of classes, they have an indoor swimming pool, and then they have classes where you can do exercises in the pool. They have a lot. The problem that I had with that was it was a little out of my price range. The money to put down on it was more than I thought I could afford, except they do tell you if you can afford it or not, because that was my biggest concern. She said I could, but I wasn't real comfortable with it, so that was another drawback for me. I just couldn't make myself comfortable with the feeling that I could afford it. It's either 60 or 66 acres of property. Paige just drove me around, showing that they had executive homes that are a little bigger. It looks just like a regular home with a nice big yard, and they keep care of all that. She drove me to the newer units that were in the back. I think it was two stories high, or three stories high, with underground parking. That was a beautiful view of the nice green area in front of it.

My mother was in Presbyterian Village for rehab. They did a great job and were caring and helpful. They talked about the problems with us and fixed them. Everything went well. They had very beautiful grounds, and the location was convenient.

My parents are in Presbyterian Village North Dallas for less than a month now. They seem to have everything from independent living to burial. It is beautiful and expensive.
