Benton House of Covington

We have found Benton House of Covington for my mom. It's local and it's better for a family member. It's closer for them. My mom is in memory care. The staff has been very helpful. Everything has been good. I have no problem with them.The food is good. They have activities. They have movie nights. They have all different kinds of themes they do all year long like the Fourth of July. The facilities are great compared to others I've seen. They have everything that you could want like cable and television. My mom has been here since May.

We had an in-person tour of Benton House of Covington. The residents and the staff just really seemed like family. Everybody knew everybody. It's a very small place, which we liked. The staff was young and energetic. She obviously loved the residents that were there and treated them like family. They only had three one-bedroom units, and the rooms were kind of small. The place was very clean, well kept up, and looked nice. They had a courtyard.

Benton House of Covington was immaculate, clean, and smelled good. However, it's overly expensive. They don't have independent living. The staff was nice, and they have activities.

My dad is at Benton House at Covington. It's very good, they have nice people, and it’s working out very well. It’s not too far for him to go to the dining room to eat, he has a patio that looks onto the courtyard, and it’s very laid out very nicely. The staff is very nice. We've had no problems at all. He has an efficiency bedrom which is one big room with a bathroom and a little kitchen. It’s very well laid out and very nice. My father likes the food. He said they give you plenty of food and it tastes good.

Benton House of Covington is beautiful. My father seriously considered it, but it was too far away from his doctors. The facility was really nice. Everything was perfect, clean, and all the lights were lit. The lady who gave us the tour knew all the names of all the residents. She was very personable and answered all of our questions. The residents were moving around and seemed very comfortable. They had a place outside where they could sit and get fresh air. They had a lot of freedom and seemed very happy. They had a private room where family could come and eat with your family member. It's a newer facility and was immaculate. They had a chair rail down the hall; I ran my finger down, and it wasn't dusty. I was looking for little things as an indicator of the kind of care they give to the building since it's probably the same kind of care they give to the residents.

Some friends that we’ve known for years were at Benton House, and it’s an excellent facility. My mother has somebody with her 24/7, and it has been really good for her. It’s a very nice facility, everyone is extremely good, and they’re very helpful.
