My parents moved into Schilling Gardens last April. The community is not too large and not too small, convenient to my home, and seems fine. The staff has a very good working attitude and is caring to the residents. They have a one-bedroom with a living area. They like the food and have a wide variety to pick from, and the dining area is set up nicely. They have a large common area with card tables, puzzles, and a TV. They have people come in to sing to them once a week. They have a big screened-in porch, so they can go outside, and flower beds that are raised to wheelchair height. There are lots of things for them to do there.

I am a friend or relative of resident
Both of my parents lived here and everyone is wonderful. It is a small place, so everyone gets a lot of extra attention. My parents lived in two other places locally before moving here and this is by far THE BEST. The director of nursing is amazing and the administrator will talk to families 24/7- she gives everyone her cell number. This is a very loving and attentive place. The food is great. They are very active. My family has never been happier with care for my parents. We can finally take a vacation.

I am a friend or relative of resident
This is the third facility my aunt has lived in, and this is HOME to her. Everyone Is wonderful here. I loved it when the director told us their "greatest amenity was love". No other facility in the area compares and I have been in ALL of them trying to find the perfect place. Schilling Gardens has become a home for our family. Nothing else compares to the love and comfort you feel as soon as you walk in the door. Our family recommends it as the only 5 star assisted living in the area.

My dad is at Schilling Gardens and it's a 5-star place. It's a two-year old facility and he loves it there. He thinks of it as his little home right now. The food is great.

Care is provided in a building specifically designed with the care of the Alzheimer's resident in mind. We consider each resident's own strengths and weaknesses to weave a seamless cloth of individualized care. We also incorporate the latest approaches to this challenging disease into the daily routines and activities of all our residents. It's difficult to even search for proper care while tending to someone with Alzheimer's. Each day presents new challenges to patients and their caregivers. At the Arbors we offer a shelter of care and advice for the entire family.
