My parents will be moving in. They've already rented an assisted living apartment. I know the building is not new, but it appeared to be new, very clean, and homelike. It had very comfortable seating scattered throughout the hallways and corners. I couldn't have looked for a nicer place. The staff couldn't have been better. They were knowledgeable and welcoming. We were shown their activity schedule, and they also showed us different areas of the campus where they do activities. It's an excellent schedule. We checked their dining room, and we viewed several of the apartments, the exercise room, the activity room, and the family party room, and we found nothing negative at all. After they saw this, they didn't want to look anywhere else. It was everything we were looking for.

I like the small size of the Assumption Home Care. I like the caring staff. They're very thorough, and they are letting me know everything. The community is excellent. They update me all the time about my dad. Every day there is something. He is in hospice right now; an outside agency that I chose comes in.

Assumption Community is like no other Nursing home or assisted living facility out there. Most people have negative perspectives on nursing homes and Assumption completely changed my outlook. All staff were genuinely caring and had a holistic approach to care given. Assumption was always very clean. All garbage was taken out frequently, residents always had fresh water and a snack. The d̩cor had a very at home feel. The theme was very calming and non-medicinal looking. Assumption community provided much more than white as you would normally see. This nursing facility provided many pertinent resident activities in which many of the residents attended frequently. Care conferences were very confidential and provided the best interest with the residents involved including emotional, physical and spiritual support. As a caregiver myself and have seen many other nursing facilities if I had to choose to put my loved one in a skilled nursing facility, Assumption Community would be a first choice!

Asher Haus - Memory Care
Assumption Community introduces Asher Haus, which is a memory care assisted living facility for seniors.
Asher means to be blessed and Haus is German for house. The name 'Asher Haus' was developed to honor our German Catholic roots. Asher was born the eight son of Jacob and Zilpah, in the Old testament, book of Genesis. He was happy and blessed because the family considered his loving disposition to be their good fortune. 'Haus' is the German spelling of house.
Asher Haus has two neighborhoods, each with 14 private suites. The neighborhoods feature a distinctive kitchen, dining and living room, as well as a multipurpose Great Room, Spa Room, and two outdoor spaces.
Assumption Court and John Paul Apartments
Assumption Community offers assisted living (Assumption Court) and subsidized living (John Paul Apartments) apartments for seniors. We promote and support the perfect balance between the need for minimal up to enriched assistance with health care needs and household tasks. We are committed to helping our seniors remain in their apartment for as long as possible.
We provide handicap-accessible units, bathrooms and kitchenettes for easy mobility. We also have a provider on campus once weekly for office visits in the comfort of your own apartment. On campus we also have physical, occupational, and speech therapy for added convenience.
