I visited this facility
We're hoping that mom will be in Caremore of Clarkston within a few weeks. The big reason we chose it was because she could have a private room in there. It is a newer home, so it's more open, more spacious, and nicer looking. The staff seemed to be just really caring for the residents and very compassionate. Just from that brief time with them, they were wonderful. It's a livelier place and more active with more moving around. They still have their wits about them; they're just unable to do the day-to-day activities.

Service here used to be above average and very good. Recently they have not been as well maintained at all. Very unhappy with their current work. Smell of urine, unwashed body, lose of dental plate just not proper care anymore. Understaffing in part is problematic.

Everything at Heather Pines is wonderful. The workers there are just wonderful. It's a great place to be. My husband said the food is like wonderful home cooked food. He also likes the exercises and he keeps busy all the time. They have a nice deck that he likes to go out on. He hasn't had any complaints.
