I visited this facility

We went to Ivy Park at Claremont. We really liked it and it's very nice. We didn't realize it until I went there. At first, the agent told me that it was within our budget, which is around $4,000, but that's just the lodging and does not include the Alzheimer's care. It works for us, but it costs us more. The facility is awesome. They secure the place so that no one can get slipped out of a certain area, then one person will take care of a few. They watch TV together, play games, or even if they don't understand, they'll be around so they will be watched 24/7. They have so many activities. They have nice patios outside, lounges, and they have tea time that they can enjoy there. I would love to be there myself if I was a senior. We were very impressed.

The location was perfect for us. The grounds were very, very pretty and the staff seemed very friendly. The accommodations were nice, and the dining area was well lit and spacious. They had a beauty salon, games, outdoor facilities, shuttle services, and activities outside of the facility that they would take the residents to.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My father is here They've got very warm and friendly staff members. It's a very clean facility. His room has everything he needs, and it's very clean and has a great view. He says the food is pretty good. Right now, the only activity is bingo, but it's very limited. They're still able to go and sit around and watch TV, and they're able to go outside, but that's pretty much it for now. He's just having a couple of problems in his room.

We went here. I liked the help, they're wonderful, they're kind, and the place is beautiful. It's a smaller place, I liked the setting, it's more country, and it's convenient for us. It's more laid back, too. They've got bus trips, and all kinds of stuff, we really liked it. They had a lovely dining facility.

I went here for my dad. We did a walk through and looked at the grounds. We discussed a couple of scenarios with the director of marketing or sales. The place was clean. The staff was very knowledgeable and answered our questions. Activities included casual dining and TV. Nothing was organized. The dining area was nice.

The community was a little richer, but the place was very nice. Their staff was very kind and very inviting. They wanted us to try out their food and invited us to a brunch; they just really want you to get a feel of how your family member is going to be living. We did not get to try their food because we didn't have time that day, but they offered twice. Just that they offered was very nice. They were having Happy Hour the day that we visited, and then they were going to watch a movie later. They were also telling me that they have a walking club, and they do exercises and movie nights. I did feel like it was its own community within a community.

The rooms were clean and nice, but it was small. It’s a smaller residential area. They do have exercise room and activity room. I spoke to one lady. and they seemed very friendly there. They were going on an outing or somewhere when I visited, and they were very happy.

I visited here for my dad. It was very good. The memory care person really knew her stuff, and she was the one who toured us. We saw that they had an outdoor area that they could be in safely. They also have a resident dog, which I thought was great. My sister and I were not happy with the dinner table, which was like a family dinner table, and all the residents were at the same table.

I like it because it was a smaller place, but I didn’t like the location of it being right next to the freeway. This place was a very nice place. I like everything about it. The staff was very friendly.

Mom is now here. We are very pleased with the facility. The people are very friendly, helpful, and caring. We are very happy where she is. They have excellent food. The facility is very clean, cheerful, and home-like. They do offer many kinds of activities. One thing I like about this facility is that she is very well taken care of.

My mom really enjoys it because it's a small facility. It's not overwhelming and it's more like a home, not like a resort. Some of the places we visited, she says it is like living in a hotel, she wouldn't want to stay there so she really enjoys it at Sunrise. That's the type of person she is. The staff is wonderful and awesome. They call everyone by first name and they make it a point to know you. They're just great people, very friendly, very compassionate. The food is excellent. They have a menu and you will order off for every meal. They have activities every hour and a half.

The surroundings here are nice. It's near the rest of the community, but it's not a real busy area. They value their seniors, go at great lengths to make them comfortable and cared for. They also have activities like sing some songs with community choir, table games, a social area. The staff is very nice, patient, and helpful.
