Reviews of Valley House

I am a friend or relative of a resident
The staff is very is experienced and there is a low turnover. I saw the same staff members each time I visited. The food was good. The building was clean and always smelled fresh. There were many activites to keep residents active and involved.

I visited this facility
This facility, which has 22 rooms, is located in town, but along open space, so it has a country feel that offers privacy. It is quite new construction"”built in the last 15 years or so, and nicely maintained.
The outdoor spaces are great, which include a waterfall, fountains and a garden. There is also a playground, which is a unique feature"”and really helps make the place and the whole idea of visiting less intimidating for kids.
The food is reputedly very good and varied"”and there is a wide variety of activities appealing to various interests offered to the residents, including offsite outings.
The staff is caring and competent, adding to the small town friendly feel of the place. The people who work there seem like they are doing it because their hearts are into it"”and that shines through.
Valley House is not set up to give specific memory care, although some people in the early stages do live there.
Some rooms share a bath, especially likely for residents who receive Medicaid, but even the smaller rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are equipped with two sinks.
Prices start at $2,700 a month for a shared room, but most rooms are bigger and more expensive.
