We toured this facility, and I was impressed by its overall look, but the residents I observed didn't seem to be engaged in anything in particular. Most people were in their rooms, which is fine, but we want a little more in community and daily stimulation. The food smelled very yummy. The cost, considering the built-in services, seemed pretty high to me.

Brookdale MacArthur Park was clean, even though it was going through some renovation. It was on a smaller scale facility than I was expecting. There were only 12 or 13 residents, but they seemed to be engaged with the residents with daily activities. The person who gave me the tour was very informative. She's a little bit on the younger side, but she had experience with memory care facilities and what is being offered and what they could offer. I thought she was very knowledgeable.

I went to Brookdale MacArthur Park. They offer them breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the cafeteria. They had nurses and doctors on-site to come to visit them. My mother wouldn't have somebody there with her all the time, but they would check on her every day if she didn't check-in. I didn't have anything bad about it. I loved it. It was a beautiful community. Everybody was very professional and gracious. It supplied all the needs of the tenants. The staff was very personable and very informative. He was one of the managers, and he's very professional. They made me feel like they would take good care of my family member if they were there. They had a garden patio, a library, a beauty salon on-site, and several physical and occupational therapists there on-site.

We toured Brookdale MacArthur Park for my mother-in-law and father-in-law. It's a larger facility with more people. They were very helpful, and it seems like they know all the residents. They have very good communication and rapport with them. The rooms were clean and spacious. Our overall impression of it was really good. They were all very, loving, caring, and helpful. I can't tell you anyone that was not warm and helpful. It seemed like they were really caring. I saw a bingo room, a game room, and a movie theater. They had a nice porch on the front.

Brookdale MacArthur Park was lovely. I really liked it. I liked the environment. It was very beautiful and clean. I really liked the sales associate that gave us the information about pricing and how the facility works. They basically have studio apartments. They have a room that has a pool table in it for you to play pool and games. They also have a library and a beautiful dining room. The staff was friendly and informative. She was great.

They showed us just about everything at Brookdale Macarthur Park. We were able to speak to some of the caretakers along the way. It appeared to be a very well-run community. The memory care is separate in that community. They seemed to be engaged in the patients, theyre keeping the patients engaged in different things, and they seemed conscientious. They offered medication management, they had activities going on, exercise, craft activities, and it seemed to keep the people occupied. They have single rooms, double rooms, places to go and watch TV or read a book. They try to make it like a home environment even though its a larger community. They had singing, people come in, play the piano, and take them to the store once a week by bus. It was clean, bright, and cheerful.
