I have been at the Lodge for two years. This place has change managers and staff so frequently it’s hard to keep up. They don’t pay their bills. They have roof leaks and the roof is covered with a tarp. The pool is never open and not maintained. The activities are always cancelled. The rooms are spacious and the residents are great. The food is great. But this place needs a new manager and management. They have destroyed a beautiful place.

I live at the lodge and it has gone downhill under the staff they have. Things want get done and they rent to anyone. The pe are rude. The list is so long and if you talk to them they act like they will do something and you know they want. They treat you like you are nothing. The building has gone down it’s very sad . The manager Kay hides so she want have to talk with you. Don’t waste your time. Moving when my lease is up.

I toured The Lodge at Bridgemill. I thought it was too remote for me, and I did not like the people that were interviewing me. They were snooty. The studios were nice. They're very large. They're very good that way, but I couldn't get by the personnel, so I chose not to pursue it. Their apartments were very large, and the facilities were very good. They had pretty much everything to offer in that sense than most of the senior communities have, but I just couldn't get by the personnel.

The Lodge at Bridgemill was lovely and the person who gave me the tour was lovely. They showed me, models. It was a very well-organized, thought-through, and customized tour based on a couple of minutes of conversation with me. It was pricy, but it's a lovely facility. It's thoughtfully laid out and aesthetically pleasing. I had not had a chance to eat lunch and I was a little lightheaded, and the staff member who was showing me around called the kitchen and said, "We got to feed this lady now or she's going to fall over." They made me a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, that was probably the best one I've ever had. It was a snack to keep my blood sugar stable. They're busy and this request came out of nowhere, and they still managed to deliver. I think that speaks very highly of their thoughtfulness and their flexibility. If they weren't so pricy, I would have gone with The Lodge. They're just on the top end of my budget and I don't want to spend all of my money that way.

The Lodge at Bridgemill was very nice and it had very nice grounds. They allow dogs, which is good. However, meals were not included, and secondly, they didn't have any activity scheduled. Whatever the people wanted to do, they could do, but there was nothing planned like lessons, crafts, or something like that. The folks were kind of just dependent on themselves to play cards or whatever it was they wanted to do. Other than that, the rooms were very nice and it is independent living. Everyone is kind of free to do whatever they want to do. There's just not a whole lot that's scheduled for them to do in the area of enlightening their minds and being busy with something. The staff during the tour was wonderful. She went through it all and answered all my questions. The dining area was very nice. The environment was very nice.

I saw the independent living part of The Lodge at Bridgemill. It seemed nice and clean, everybody seemed happy, and it was good. For activities, I think they had needlework and they played games like mahjong. They also had a pool. They serve meals but they're just getting started so they are not every day yet. Maybe just 2 meals a day. The staff was fairly nice. They want to do their best for everyone there. The rooms were nice but they had more carpet and I prefer it without carpet. They had carpet everywhere except the kitchen and the bathroom but because of my wheelchair, I prefer not to have carpet.
