My wife has been at Canyon Trails for a week now. I'm happy with the place. It's a nice place. They're very cooperative. Everything is nice. It's clean. The upkeep is very nice. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. I'm very pleased with the place. They would take them on a walk. They have a different group, but my wife hasn't gotten involved in the group yet. She is still getting acclimated to the people. They have several dining areas and the food, she says, is very good. She likes it. She is eating a lot more than she did at home.

My friend is in Canyon Trails. It's been fantastic. They gave me a tour and I felt extremely comfortable with the people that are in there taking care of the people. They were wonderful. They call every day if I have a question. They're very knowledgeable. They know how to take care of people, and I felt very good about it. The rooms are beautiful. I didn't try their food, but their chef has been there for 29 years. They post their menu every day. They have a movie theater, a walking club, he actually went for bingo one day, and they also have entertainment. When I took him, they actually had somebody playing the trombone with live music. It was wonderful. They have a nice patio for the people. It's very, very clean, and very nice.

My wife will be moving into Canyon Trails. I like the place. It was clean, and the personnel was nice. They all seemed to be friendly and kind. They dropped the price down by $700 for five months, so they're helping me with that. The rooms were clean. They said they have board games, they have workouts and physical therapists, and several really nice things. They have a courtyard to go out and sit with your loved ones and a family room where you could sit with them and do different things. There could be some slight improvements but, overall, they're nice. There are supposed to be some specialists working with my wife to try to improve her memory. They have a psychiatrist who could work with her because she needs some medications to calm her down. It's super secure. The only elevator that goes to the garage is for staff only. They don't have a parking lot for visitors. You have to call and they'll open the garage. The garage is very dark, then you go to an elevator and wait for them to come down and pick you up. It's very cumbersome, but I know it's good for security.

My dad has moved into Canyon Trails. It's very clean. I like the staff. they were very helpful and welcoming. My dad is very comfortable there. I like the patio that they can go out to. The dining hall is very nice and clean. His room is clean. They have housekeeping once a day, so it's very nice. They have bingo, trivia, and Zumba. They have physical therapy. He enjoys all the arts and crafts that he does with them. I would definitely recommend them. We're very pleased with them.

Canyon Trails was very nice, but a lot smaller than the other ones I visited. The rooms were all the same size. They gave us some little samples of some scones that they made, which were yummy. The staff seemed friendly enough. When we went there, they were doing bingo, but they have a nice outdoor area where they have a flat area where you could actually putt. She said some of the residents like to golf and practice swings. They had a little disc golf thing back there and a lot of tables and umbrellas outside. Everything's newly renovated, all the rooms and everything. The dining area was nice.

My friend moved into Canyon Trails. He's in memory care. We chose this place after looking at probably over 60 places because the people are extremely caring, loving, and very attentive. The services they offer are great. The place is clean, newly renovated, and everyone is just lovely. Their memory care unit is a locked facility and they have two levels of care there. He is in the lower level, so that was good, and the people are very caring and very attentive. The rooms are lovely and newly renovated. They have lots of activities for them. They keep them engaged during the day. They have some beautiful outdoor spaces that are safe and secure. They do trips with them and the people are just really caring. Of all the places I looked at, the pictures they have on the website are actually what the place looks like. It is nice. When he moved in, they put a big red ribbon on his door, welcoming him with a sign and he cut the ribbon to go into his room and he got lots of attention. It is a wonderful, caring place. They have different group activities. They encourage everyone to eat in the main dining room and to communicate with one another. They have crafts, they do field trips, and there are outdoor areas where they do events for the residents. They keep them engaged during the course of the day and keep their brains working as much as possible. They have a beauty salon. The administrator, Susan, and one of the head people, Anne, are just wonderful, caring people who have been in the industry for many years and understand what's needed to take care of people with memory problems.
