Home sweet home! The Villas is the perfect place for your loved one. Do you want the piece of mind knowing that someone is checking on your family member multiple times a day? Give your family the comfort of knowing your family member is safe, the Villas did this for our family. Everyone is busy these days which is why we are grateful for the staff that visits twice a day to provide medication that was often forgotten when living alone. Need therapy the therapist comes to your family member, no more coordinating rides & schedules. No one likes to cook for one or eat alone, the Villas provides balanced meals in a friendly dining room. Need your loved one to get moving….well after a walk to lunch you will find the residents making crafts, cooking classes, bingo, outings and most of all fun & laughter. The laundry & cleaning is also a blessing. We love the Villas & appreciate having the extra bedroom for storage. We are extremely grateful for the 24 hour “watch”. As my family member would say how is life at the Villas? FANTSTIC- how could it not be they for everything for you!

Amy was excellent! As some of my family members are deciding on where to place my grandma, amy went above and beyond. She took time out of her day to visit my grandma at the nursing home just to chat with her and sit with her. The information and guidance she has given our family is nothing short of excellent. She has been providing examples of why the villas would be a great fit for my grandma in ways that the family has not thought of. If you have any questions or concerns about the villas, talk to amy so is wonderful and truly cares for each and every resident!!! Thank you amy for all you have done !

I toured The Villas at St. James and met Amy. She seemed to be very knowledgeable and the residents all seemed to really like her. It's very cute, has a very homey feeling, and very warm. It was very nice. They had sittercise and some people quilting while we were there. We got to see a one-bedroom and it was very, very roomy, and very adequate for one person.

My mother has been a resident at the Villas for several years. The staff are very caring and cheerful. My mother enjoys playing bingo and games. They provide musical entertainment. It is a very nice facility.

The place is beautiful and clean. It has a fresh smell. Everyone always seems happy. Residents and staff. The rooms are a great size. They laundry, housekeeping. The kitchen comes with the appliances.

Visited the community with my sister. We have visited communities on both sides of the river. By far this is the community we are going to choose when the time is right. How the facility handles level of care is like no other in the area. The courtyards are beautiful and the apartments with patios are a great choice. The overall community has a feeling of being at home. Throughout our tour you could tell the residents loved living there and were taken outstanding care of.

I had a friend in The Villas at St. James. It was wonderful. It was nice. I was ready to move in myself. It was very clean and new. I happened to live in a great big home that takes a lot of care and a lot of yard work. I'm about ready to throw in the towel on that, so it was nice there that you don't have to worry about any of that. I had limited contact with the staff, but the people I did meet were very friendly. They had something going on in the dining hall, and my friend said they played bingo and pinochle cards. The facility was just beautiful, they had their own little patio, which was nice, and everything was very nice and very clean, too.

We saw an apartment at The Villas at St. James in person and we saw the rest of the place virtually. The people or staff are very caring, but the apartment was very dated. It sort of reminded me of an old hotel. It needed some updates, it needed paint, it really needed some cosmetic works, and I wouldn't have moved my parents there without some updates. The community itself looked loving and caring and I'm sure it's fine. The virtual tour was beautiful, but the in-person tour I would say that the apartments are set up well, they're just dated. We saw the highest-end apartment that they had, and I wouldn't move my parents in there. They have activities like bingo and things of that nature or outings. The woman that showed us the apartment didn't really know anything because the woman who was supposed to show it to us was sick that day. So a nurse or somebody showed us the apartment and couldn't really tell us very much.

I toured the Villas at St. James. I loved it, and it's perfect for me to move in when the time comes. They go places, I've seen them exercising, they've got different activities, and these I love to do, activities and go places. The rooms were so nice, you opened up the door and there's a patio outside, and I really liked it. They're perfect for me. The shower was a walk-in, I can sit on a chair if I want to take a bath, and it was really nice. It's got a beauty salon, they've got laundry and housekeeping, and it's beautiful.
