The place is like a resort--and you pay for it. Most of it my mother would never use. She's a difficult woman and they had problems dealing with her, even though we were very upfront about her issues. I thought this was their bailiwick? I don't see how a company can advertise that they are experts in senior care, charge the exorbitant prices they do and then say they don't know what to do with her.
It's best for people still mentally "all-there" with tons of money and ready to have someone else cook, clean and entertain them. But as long as you're a happy camper, in assisted or memory care, they want you and you will do well.
My mother is now in a 6 patient family home, which is much better suited to her.
