Reviews of Eastern Nebraska Veterans' Home

I visited this facility
I was satisfied with everything at Eastern Nebraska Veterans' Home. It was fairly expensive, but the staff was fine. The rooms were adequate. You could take a bus. They go to different places, and they have a reading room, a computer, and an exercise room.

I am a friend or relative of a resident
My relative has received good, compassionate care. I'm very impressed with the nurses and most of the aides. It's a fairly new building, very clean and well run. The most important factor of course, is the care you loved one receives. However, I would recommend keeping your own Dr.
From Eastern Nebraska Veterans' Home
The Home covers nearly 118,000 sq. feet and has four separate wings.
The Home is designed to serve members in four areas: assisted living, intermediate care, skilled care, and Alzheimer's care. Each area serves 30 members and has its own exterior courtyard designed to serve different mobility levels of the members.
The Governor credited efforts by the public and private sector for helping the new veterans' home project reach the construction phase. The City of Bellevue donated the land to the state and the Sarpy County Board of Commissioners donated $300,000 to build an access road to the site.
