I've lived here for long time

I am/was a resident of this facility

It's a drama palace. All the residents behave between 9am and 3pm when the management is present. After that, they just lose their minds. They don't care about anything or anyone. It's very common for a specific room to be very busy. They don't care. They know the management doesn't care as long as things don't happen when they're present. The rest of the time it's a madhouse.

I am/was a resident of this facility

The facility welcomes Grady Hospital patients in recovery,ex- offenders, homeless, elderly. It is called THE WELCOME HOUSE for good reason. They welcome churches to bring food for the residences on Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.Nice staff.Friendly.Rooms are both large and small .Every resident is expected to keep their apartment neat and clean.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I currently reside here in apt. 373. You an oversized closet you live in among pedophiles, rapist, and sexual offenders. Most people living here Are Dual diagnosed and have intense chemical dependency issues. You have crack dealers and loan sharks and you have people who chit & per on the toilet seat. Management is lax and they hire a security provider who doesn't require piss test or background checks for their employees who sit on their phones and speak with profanity to the residents. This place has police activity almost 2 - 3 a day some weeks. People from the local shelter (Gateway) come over and get drunk and trash the outside while the mood filth the inside.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I have lived here for almost three years and came here when I was in need of something fast to live and within my income which is disability. One thing I will say about this place is it has a number of registered sex offenders that they never seem to make people aware of prior to moving in here. Not that I am worried for me , but it seems liek something females should be made Aware of before being rented too.

I visited this facility

This is a very nice facility. The staff treats my grandmother very nicely. They always make her feel loved. She feels like they are her second family. It is an extremely clean environment. My grandmother is very strict on cleanliness, so when she approved of this facility, I knew this place was extremely clean. She loves that each floor has a kitchen, so she does not feel so dependent. The community is wonderful, loving and caring. It is surprisingly open to all ages, but mostly senior citizens live there. Since it is for all ages she still feels like she is living in the real world. Yet, they do random drug test, and my grandmother has never failed one. So, after a certain amount of drug tests they should allow you to opt out of taking the drug test. In all, this is a very nice facility. I cannot imagine my wonderful, sweet grandmother living anywhere else.

I visited this facility

I visited the facility recently to stay in a assisted care facility as a young disabled. This was a nice facility that has single independent rooms based on 30% of your income. The rooms come in small rooms with single beds and larger rooms with a double bed. It is mainly for mental health residents that need assisted living. They have a shared bathroom on each floor; that was the only downside to me. Mentally challenged individuals should be able to have their own bathroom. They also have a cooking facility on wach floor; and the residents are responsible for their own meals. You have an average size refrigerator and a sink in your room. This facility also has various activities for the residents. They have a computer room, an activity room, and a library. All residents much take a random drug test. Failure of the drug test will lead to immediate termination of your lease. There is no alcohol allowed on the premises.
