Vista Prairie at Windmill Ponds

My mother has been at Windmill Ponds for almost a year and has felt loved and cared for there. Staff are so helpful and caring, and make the residents feel so special. Throughout the summer and fall there were outside spaces with lawn furniture where my mom loved sitting and enjoying the outdoors. Now that it's colder, there are long hallways to walk, as well as exercise sessions each weekday morning. There are scheduled activities such as Bible studies, worship services, Bingo and crafts - a daily calendar the residents can see the possibilities. Coffee/treats every afternoon in the dining room is a great time for residents/guests to visit with each other. The rooms are spacious with plenty of storage and very comfortable. Staff people are always ready and willing to listen to family when a need arises. This has been the perfect fit for my mom - we feel she's in a safe place and respected and loved by those around her. My in-laws have moved into Vista Prairie at Windmill Ponds. They have been there for a week and a half now. It's a very, very comfortable place. It's very homey. The staff are great. They haven't been there that long, but from what I've seen, it's just fine. They have a two-bedroom apartment. They also have a one-bedroom. They have arts and crafts and that type of stuff, they have church available, and they have a bowling simulator. There's no exercise room, but they have a courtyard.

Vista Prarie at Windmill Ponds was very good, although my mother needs more care than they can give. The staff was very wonderful, caring, thorough, and informative. They showed us spacious and well-laid-out one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. They didn't have any activities going on at the time of our visit.

The rooms at Vista Prairie were wonderful and spacious enough. I didn't feel cramped, and you could move around in them. We saw a room where people were exercising; they told us all the different things that they do. The staff people were excellent and informative. I thought the place was beautiful, well maintained, and well staffed. It was perfect. I would have jumped on living there, except that we have big animals and they only take smaller ones. I would recommend it to anybody.

Vista Prairie at Windmill Ponds was great, and we were really impressed with the whole facility. The rooms are large and very accommodating.

Vista Prairie at Windmill Ponds was too big for Mom's needs, but it's a very nice place. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and great. The place is clean, nice-looking, and modern.
