We went to Morada Albuquerque and toured it. What was available at the time was not what we wanted for my friend as far as the room, but otherwise, it looked like it was laid out pretty decently. It was clean, but we just didn't want her on the second floor because she's got a pet and she needs to be able to take that pet outdoors at times and that's a little bit more than what we felt that she could handle. The lady who toured me was very helpful and answered all the questions. That was nice. They had a gym and a salon, too.

They have a serious roach problem. My friend who lives there lost her key to the front door and asked the head woman 5 times for a new one. It took two months to get it. They lock the front door at 5:00 PM everyday so my friend would have to wait in the cold for someone to come let her in. Not what you would expect for the almost $4,000 rent they charge. The house keeping service is minimal.

Morada Albuquerque had a continuum of care. They had everything right there available. It was fabulous. It was in my price range. They were clean. The people that we met with were very friendly. The rooms were spacious. The food selection looked good. The staff was friendly. The people who were there looked happy. It was farther from my house than the other places, so the proximity to me was not as good. The person I met with, Erica, was very caring. It was a nice facility with a lot of things, a library, and a little workout room. They had an activity area. They had all kinds of things going on. The room had a microwave. There were lots of windows, so there was a lot of natural light. It had its private bathroom and things like that. It had a kitchenette with a microwave and a refrigerator. Everybody was friendly to the residents and seemed very helpful and knew them by name. They had transportation. They had little field trips also. They watch movies and have popcorn.

Morada Albuquerque was pretty far from the house where I live, but it was beautiful and the staff was wonderful. The tour and everything were just beautiful. It was in wonderful shape and it looks like it'd be fairly easy for people to get around as well, like you will not get lost quite as easily. There was a nice big garden area where they could go out and sit, too. The lady who gave the tour was very thorough. Everything was so clean and nice.

I think Morada Albuquerque is a very nice place for my husband. It's working out well for him. Everybody there is so kind, caring and helpful. The apartment's size and layout are just right for him. It gives him enough room to do what he needs to, but he's not overwhelmed with so much stuff. My husband likes to go out and meet people and have meals. Their meals are extremely good. They're well-organized. It's such a nice atmosphere for him to go in and feel like he's eating in a restaurant. The activities are good. My husband likes chair yoga and movies. He goes to a lot of activities, and he likes all of them. They have field trips and they also offer transportation if somebody needs to go to doctor's appointments or something. Sometimes it's just a ride around the city, but sometimes they go out to eat in a restaurant or something, so it's nice. The facility is very, very clean. It's got really good signage for the people, so it is easier for them to get around.

My mom has moved into Morada Albuquerque. It's beautiful. So far, so good. The staff is nice. The med tech was kind of rude but other than that, everybody was nice. They have good things to eat. There are lots of activities. I would recommend it. The room has a refrigerator and a sink, but there's no cooking. They supply the meals. You can have your own food and there's a microwave. I haven't tried their food, but my aunt has, and she said it's very good. For activities, they do exercises, they have outings, they have movies, and they have ice cream socials.

My mom will move into Morada Albuquerque. It was clean and friendly. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms are updated and clean. It smells good. Not every place I went to smells good. Some of them were pretty gross. The dining area was comfortable, spacious. They have a lot of activities. They have happy hours, and they have church services. They have a beauty salon and craft activities. They also have a shuttle service to drive residents to activities and doctors' appointments. That was one of the deciding factors.

I toured Morada Albuquerque. It's big with a lot of walking within the facility for an elderly person so you need to be pretty mobile to get around. They have escort services to help you get around so you don't get lost. But it was nice, bright, and sunny. They had a lot of open courtyards within the facility. It's extremely convenient for me. It's less than a quarter of a mile away and it's down the street, that's why it appeals to me. The marketing person was very nice and very informative. She was able to explain a lot of information to me. I wasn't able to sit down and ask questions after the tour because she had another appointment, but she was very good, and she showed me everything. They have three options for rooms. The base price is based on those three options, and then they have a point system of additional services required that are added to that cost, so you can figure out how much the cost is. They have two studios and one-bedroom floorplans available, which is good. They have pretty much the same amenities as all assisted living. They had an activities calendar and activities going on. They have a movie room, they have three meals a day, and they have a community dining area. They have a lot going on. It was a busy place. There were a lot of people milling around and stuff.
