We have my sister placed at Ivy Park at Simi Valley. She has been there for two weeks now. They have just renovated, so it's bright. It's a very nice community. We're still trying to work our way in because you never walk in and have everything the way you wanted, but the staff are working with us and I think it's just beautiful. They've bent over backward to help us out. My sister is enjoying it now, so she is getting more familiar, which makes it easier on the staff. The only problem we've had is just trying to get everything squared away because she just came in from out of state, so we're still working through prescriptions and medtech-thing. Overall, we've just really enjoyed the place and the people who work there. My sister is starting to blend in a little bit better, so this is a good thing. Because COVID kind of took a sweep over the place, activities have been down to the minimum. They have scheduled many activities, none of which my sister has taken advantage of yet because she caught a cold. Nevertheless, those activities are still out there for her to enjoy. They have outings and places to go, and eventually, I think that's going to be something my sister can utilize and enjoy herself, but we haven't taken advantage of it yet. They have outings and places to go. Eventually, I think that's going to be something my sister can utilize and enjoy herself, but we haven't taken advantage of it yet. It's a very pleasant place to be. The staff are very friendly and helpful. With regard to food, my sister has been enjoying it. Although I haven't eaten a lot of food, the food that I had was really good. My sister seems to be eating everything that they give her. They're always cleaning the place and it always looks nice. The value for money is relatively good.

I moved into Ivy Park at Simi Valley. The price was good. The people are very friendly and helpful, and I just like the overall feel of it. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. There are three meals a day, snacks in the bistro, and there are a lot of activities. They have a salon and courtyard, they have group activities, they take you out on tours, and they provide transportation to medical appointments, and church services if you want to do that.

Ivy Park at Simi Valley had a resident playing the piano when I visited. I thought that was very cool. The place looks like a hotel when you walk into it. Their dining area was like a restaurant. They have three lovely choices of meals, three for each meal, as well as a list of other things that were more like comfort food, such as macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, and jelly sandwiches. The staff were all good. They were all very helpful and very pleasant. They take them on day trips once a week, they have all the games like bingo and dominoes, and they do painting, pool, and shooting for the men. They have everything you could want. There's also a beauty salon and you could do two loads of laundry a week or have somebody do it for you. That was inclusive of the price.

Ivy Park at Simi Valley was excellent and very becoming to the eye, but the cost is up there. That was the very first place I visited, and I was very impressed. It would be for someone who would be able to afford the high amount. They had a lot to offer. They had a beautiful library and a nice outdoor area where the residents could take walks. It's very clean and they had a lot of activities as well. They were eating in their dining area; it was very neat and just attractive. They would sit down like it was a restaurant and they could order what they wanted. The day I happened to go, it was Mardi Gras. They were celebrating and decorated for that. The residents were all out in the main lobby. They brought in some entertainment, but they also had six different people with dogs. They had six shepherds, and you could see where they were taking them. The dogs were so gentle and were going up to the residents on a leash. The people were enjoying the dogs so much. I've always heard that's great therapy. They were brought in so the residents could pet them and love on them and enjoy them. The tour guide I had was a woman and she was wonderful. She was very compassionate, and loving, answered any questions, and offered a lot of information. I didn't meet any other staff, just when I walked in and mentioned I was there for the tour. She was very friendly, that's the only other person I spoke with. The facility was like a resort-style, it was elaborate and very nice.

My dad is currently at Ivy Park at Simi Valley. The aesthetics and decorating are all beautiful. It's clean, modern, very well-updated, and extremely affordable. The staff is kind, friendly, and overall excellent. They have a nice coach bus and offer trips out to Target, the movie theater, shopping, and dining. They offer board games and puzzles. They have a movie theater, grooming, haircuts, manicures, an exercise room, a space for clergy on the weekends, some outdoor areas to sit in, and a nice fountain to hear water. The food in the dining area is good and adequate.

It was beautifully laid out. The tour guide, Jodi, was really good. The dining area looked nice, but the only thing we didn't like about it was the assigned feeding schedule. They had a concert going on when we were there.
