I liked Discovery Village At Boynton Beach. What I liked about it was they would give you 2 meals a day. The rooms looked nice, and the service was nice. The people were courteous. The staff that I spoke to was very nice. They had a nice library, a little gym, and entertainment.

I like Discovery Village At Boynton Beach, that was pretty nice. It's like living on a cruise ship, it's nice, and it's been newly renovated. There's entertainment every night, you get two meals a day, and it's got a nice 1-bedroom apartment or 2-bedroom apartment. They have very nice facilities, and the staff seems friendly. They had a good presentation in the lunchroom with flowers on every table, linens, so I couldn't think of anything bad about the place. The person that gave the tour was personable, knowledgeable, he's been there some time and he was able to explain and answer questions that I had. When I was there, they were having lunch at that time so it was pretty much crowded, and they didn't offer a meal. The room was like a hotel. They had a pool, they had a barbershop, they have a beauty salon, and they have a gym. They have a huge lobby and there's always a pot of coffee for visitors and residents.

Discovery Village at Boynton Beach is a very nice place, but it is a little older. I felt like it was a little more rundown, but they were in the process of doing some remodeling so I hope by now it has been fixed up. They were very nice and they have a very good memory care center. It was a lot smaller than the other facility I went to, but it is also very nice. I did not see that many activities for people like the other facilities had. The staff was very pleasant and very nice. It was very clean and everything seemed to be in good condition. There was also no odor there. It didn't smell like a nursing home.

I visited Discovery Village and they're in the middle of remodeling. The swimming pool has to be redone, but they showed us the rooms that were done over, and they looked very nice. They're redoing the lobby and a lot of things there. The outside was OK and nothing special, it's a much bigger place, and much older place than the other one I visited. It looked clean. I would give them a four for the apartments that were redone, the new apartments that I would be getting. The staff was very knowledgeable and very nice. I guess they have to redo it and bring it up to par. It was OK, nothing was wrong with it. It looked a little too old for me, the crowd, but I could be wrong. I didn't see that many people, but you age in place. If you needed a need or something like that, they have that right there, you wouldn't have to go to the assisted living, you could stay.

Discovery Village of Boynton Beach was very nice. It was being renovated. They're very nice facilities with beautiful apartments. The staff was very nice and very knowledgeable. The rooms were beautiful, modern, updated, spacious, and very, very nice. The pool is being renovated, but there seems to be a lot of nice activities. They're still updating things, so their elevator still needs updating.

I liked Discovery Village At Boynton Beach. They were in the midst of redoing and adding on. The rooms were very nice, and the apartments were quite spacious. They're putting in hardwood flooring, stainless steel kitchens, and fresh paint. It was a very thorough visit. The staff was very accommodating and the sales manager was very good. The lunch was disappointing. The food was not even the quality of a diner. It was owned by Brookdale before they took it over. There were amenities and they're improving upon them. They had a swimming pool, exercise rooms, and different classes and lectures. They had enough for everybody and for me to do and to socialize.
