Each week we hear from hundreds of consumers across the country who share praise for senior care providers in the Caring.com Directory. Among the reviews posted last week, these two 5-star ratings are particularly worthy of highlighting...

Assisted Living

Congratulations to Florida Shores Assisted Living Facility in Edgewater, Florida for receiving praise from "caring8282", whose dad has been a resident for two months.

"The place is spotlessly clean. It's a small facility, family-owned and operated, and the care is so personal," caring8282 wrote. "He eats home-cooked meals three times a day, and they cook him something special. They are very attentive to his medications, the type of reactions that he's having, so I'm very, very pleased. I never worry about my dad's care."

In-Home Care

Congratulations to Visiting Nurse Service in Ansonia, Connecticut for receiving praise from "Tony4" who hired this provider to care for his dad after his stroke.

"She helps in his bathing, she does light house work in the kitchen and the bathroom...It does make life easier because we have a little extra help," Tony wrote. "She just knows how to deal with old people and be respectful at the same time. She's very good at what she does. My dad's very comfortable."
