The tubular frame design enhances durability while providing the space you need to store your valuables while on the go. It’s available with the following accessories:

  • Arm bag
  • Walker or cane holder
  • Safety flag
  • Cupholder

Golden Compass Power Wheelchair

The Golden Compass line of center-powered wheelchairs is available in two models: Sport and HD. Both offer a springless articulating chassis and contact with the ground using six wheels for enhanced stability in all conditions. Both models also come standard with a captain’s seat.  All accessories offered on the Envy are also available for the Golden Compass.

Sport

The Golden Compass Sport is the more lightweight of the center-powered models, with a higher overall range and lower overall weight and carrying capacity than the HD. It features a Dynamic Linx Smart Controller that helps you navigate in or outdoors with the precision you need. The Sport can travel up to 25 miles at 4 miles per hour and carry a rider who weighs up to 300 pounds. It also has a turning radius of 19.5 inches, making it maneuverable in some of the tightest spaces you might encounter.

Many aspects of the Sport can be adjusted to maximize your comfort, including the seat height, seat depth, headrest height, and height, width and angle of the armrest. The ground clearance for the Sport is 3.25 inches, just a quarter-inch lower than the HD model.

HD

The HD, or heavy-duty, Golden Compass model is designed to provide a smooth and stable experience for more robust riders up to 450 pounds. It has a top speed of 4 miles per hour and a maximum range of 12 miles, making it suitable for almost all situations. The HD features:

  • Five seat positions
  • A fold-flat seat hinge design
  • Exclusive slide seat mechanism
  • Adjustable headrests and armrests
  • 3.5-inch ground clearance

One of the most impressive features of the heavy-duty power wheelchair is the Dynamic Shark controller, which gives you intuitive control to go wherever you want at the speed you desire. The HD is available with footplate extenders, elevating leg rests, swing-away footrests and specialty leg supports.
