Member since June 25, 2011I am taking care of a 93 year old Alzheimer's patient. I am not a RN, LVN, or even a CNA. I have compassion for the elderly and answered an ad at Care.com. The patient is not the problem, it is her family. I live in patients home, although the bank owns the house because her 2 children did a reverse mortgage, and pocketed the money. It was a very nice home at one time.. In austin Tx and in a prestigious neighborhood. She is not violent, she is not unkind. She is repetious, wants to go home OCDC, etc.. Her family is the problem. I work all the time. The only time I am off is M/W/F from 10-3. Saturday and Sunday 1:30-9:30. I am so burnt out. The family is burnt out. Please I like the forum I am on, so please keep talking.
