“A typical day at work includes attending to my client, who is an elderly man with Alzheimer’s. The hardest part of my job is watching him slowly get worse as he gets older. I have been working with him for over three years so I have seen the steady decline. The most enjoyable part of my job is listening to his stories and knowing that I am helping this man as best as I can and am doing my best to make his life more comfortable. There are two other ladies that also work with him and both of them are amazing and I greatly enjoy working with them.”

“You grow attached to your clients, and it’s just a good job to have if you like to care for others and know that you truly are helping them out in their everyday life.”

“A work day at Home Instead Senior Care is always a pleasure. Working with seniors is one of the best jobs I ever had. I believe it's the wisdom that they bring. Management is awesome. I work in a home setting so I rarely see any co-workers. The hardest part of the job is not being able to please all of the clients. The most enjoyable part is being a part of their lives.”
