Piglet reminds me of our little Ryan (the one on the left in the pic). He's got that same cute shyness about him. ♥

Thank You all for being here and thank you for allowing me to adopt you as a part of my family.Thank you for putting up with my rants. Thank you for making me laugh when I wanted to cry. Thank you for letting me give advise when after rereading some of it I may have been blowing smoke. Thank you for giving me a place to come to to share and celebrate as well as let loose be off the wall and vent. Thanks for laughing at the corny jokes i made up.Thank you for the prayers. Thanks for Quotes that inspired. Thank you all for helping me open up my heart.Thank you for making me feel safe. I could Go on and on and get mushier But One more important Thank you comes from deep down in my heart, Thank you all for not giving in or giving up keeping your chins up and being STRONG. Things are still pretty good here in Texas. The therapy girls don't work on week ends, so it is pretty quiet at the NH. The aides don't insist the patients get up and can eat their meals in their room if they want. I don't agree but as I was told many years ago when I did Foster Care,,
pick your battles. So I over look some things now as long as it is not harming mother.I am going tomorrow after church and if she is in bed I will get her up myself.

Caring for a Parent: A Poem For My Wonderful Mother
chrissiegreen said...
Thanksgiving - my biggest thanks of all is for my wonderful mother - who filled my childhood with laughter and joy and was always there as my greatest admirer and dearest friend. I wrote a poem to her when she left us.
Spend one more day with me - not in a closed garden-where the poaching flowers- may steal your glow-or under a dusk sky- with moonbeams and stars yearning for your smile - sing me one more lullaby - your song rising and falling- like a sweet care caressing breeze - give me one more day - when your magic twirls around my life - and you ruffle the jacaranda flowers with your laughter. XxX
