Went to a funeral service today. Mother was with me. (Ran after me, just did not want me to go alone. Reading her, she just wanted to feel safe.) Lovely service. Just could not go to the graveyard. Not with her. people said to me that she might come up with inappropriate statements. Did such a thing ever happen to you and your loved ones?
However, it's interesting to see the different responses from you all about how your loved ones responded to the situation of being at a funeral.
This is the same woman who had my mother babysit her daughter. (Of course, the routine was good, but as the child grew older and more difficult to handle, it's me who babysat her.) I spoke about it a while ago. Now it's not an issue as she's now at school.
