Most posts are sad. There are some bright lights. After two weeks of angry frustration, paranoia, diarrhea, Patti settled into deciding she loved me and would accommodate my wishes, like taking her pills, or going to a strange doctor. She accepts that the doors are so warped that she needs help to open them. She progressed to 23mg of aricept, and her stomach has adjusted. T V shows now seem confusing, but music on the radio is enjoyable. We play table games. She accepts that I need a half-hour stretch break every couple hours. She enjoys weekly afternoons with Keith, while I go off "doing my things." Those of you in doldrums or in crises, take heart. There are some good times.
