My mother was diagnosed w/ stomach and ovarian cancer two years ago. Apparently, she had a very unique situation where the two locations were not the same cancer. In order to keep the ovarian cancer from spreading, she had a hysterectomy. Unfortunately, the ovarian cancer was in Stage IV. We just learned that the ovarian cancer is back and she is beginning chemotherapy next Tuesday. I do not live w/ my mother, but close by and will be helping w/ meals. I have been doing research regarding the dos/do nots on preparing meals for chemo patients, but have not seen anything on patients who are ethnic -- my mother is Japanese and mainly eats a Japanese diet. Any one out there w/ any advise on what kinds of Asian foods may appeal to her? Thanks.
