Baby sister's breast cancer update
Hello everyone, i know it's been a while since i have been on here and i have really missed not being able to, but so much has been going on between work and home. The doctor's planned the surgery on aug 2nd 2 week's before that she went in for pre-op which by the way i thought was done a few day's before not week's, anyway they did the lab work and all and saw that she was starting to get a bladder infection, they told her they would contact the doctor and have her put on med's to clear it up BEFORE her surgery date which was as i said aug 2nd, inbetween all this her surgery was moved to the 9th of aug because some dimwit overbooked the or room ok so be it.So then it was moved to aug 9th. We were on time and they took her back for post-op and the doctor saw on her chart that she had the bladder infection and ask if she was called in anything for it and told him what was said to her at pre- op and lord did he fly off the handle is a understatement he ran the test for the infection and it was bad, so needless to say another postponement which is now aug23rd. He put her on the med's she needed and she doing well now, but the doctor said someone's ass was going to be in a sling for the carelessness, no excuse's period. The doctor called my sister to let her know he did report the person that messed up and to our surprise so did the big wig as i call them (lol) of the hospital called her as well,to apolgize for all the delay's. It is so hard on her knowing this has to be done and to try and have the right frame of mind all the stress and she has plenty of friend's that have come over and kept her busy and keep her laughing so as not to dwell on it so much which we all know is easier said than done but she is really doing well. I tell her everyday i am so proud of her and i am honored to be her sister, she is really holdin up well with everything she has gone through so far, and she know's she still has a way's to go but with god, and friend's, family and prayer'she will make it through all this. Well i do believe i covered everything and i ask for your continued prayer's, you can never have too many the more the better. I have so much to do this week and then i will take off about 11 day's to help my sister and then i have a very dear friend's coming to stay with her when i return to work, i will give update's when i can. Take care to all and my prayer's are with you as well. Sincerely, Angel.
I have posted on here before and just wanted to say I am sorry for the delays your sister and family is experiencing. It is very frustrating. Please know that there are so many out here that are praying for you and your sister and will continue sending you patience. The journey is long but remember, just one step at a time. She can do it with your help. Peace, Terri Ann
Please let your sister know that as we speak God is working it out and she will be better. She has to trust in Him for herself and know that He is truly in chagre of all of this. But if we trust and believe that God is able to do all things - then it shall be done. I'm so sorry that she and the rest of your family has to go through this unfortunate medical mishap. Know that things happen and we deal with what comes our way.
I'm praying for you and your sister.

Attitude is everything. This is the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
We kick in the moment you’re diagnosed. We help you accept the tears. Acknowledge the rage. We believe in your right to live without pain. We believe in information. Not pity. And in straight, open talk about cancer. With husbands, wives and partners. With kids, friends and neighbors. And the people you live with, work with, cry and laugh with. This is no time to pull punches. You’re in the fight of your life. We’re about the hard stuff. Like finding the nerve to ask for a second opinion. And a third, or a fourth, if that’s what it takes. We’re about getting smart about clinical trials. And if it comes to it, being in control of how your life ends. It’s your life. You will have it your way.
We’re about the practical stuff. Planning for surviving. Banking your sperm. Preserving your fertility. Organizing your finances. Dealing with hospitals, specialists, insurance companies and employers. It’s knowing your rights. It’s your life. Take no prisoners.
We’re about the fight. We’re your champion on Capitol Hill. Your advocate with the healthcare system. Your sponsor in the research labs. And we know the fight never ends. Cancer may leave your body, but it never leaves your life. This is the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Founded and inspired by one of the toughest cancer survivors on the planet. LIVESTRONG™
