Credit Card Coverage
"My Grandmother has credit card debt on three credit cards. One of the cards has been charging her Unemployment and Disability Coverage Insurance since she took over the accounts after my Grandfather passed away. Currently I have no way of knowing if the Coverage was added in recent years or if my Grandfather had this coverage when he first opened these cards, or added it later, or was simply mislead. Currently, we contacted the companies and they referred us to an activation process of the benefits. The process is simple enough except for getting signatures from physicians. It makes me uncomfortable, because I am afraid it would be considered Insurance Fraud to try and activate disability and unemployment insurance for a woman who is obviously elderly and retired. What should we do?"

The disability portion of those premiums is what you will be using.A patient where I work had that insurance and it ended up being a life saver for his family. The insurance paid the payments for them. While it means you can no longer charge anything else on the card, as long as the person remains disabled it pays.
