Alzheimer’s Ribbon Frequently Asked Questions

How exactly do I paste the code into my blog or website?
First, highlight and copy the code given to you by Caring.com. Then simply paste the code into the blog or website html editor interface and save it. We've successfully tested the ribbon on Blogger, TypePad and WordPress.

Where should I put my web ribbon?
The ribbons were built to fit in most standard blog sidebars. Even better, write a blog post about your experience with Alzheimer’s and paste the ribbon into the post.

What if I have problems with (or praise for) the ribbon?

We want your feedback, both the good and bad, so we can continue to improve the ribbon for our users. Please send us your feedback by filling out our feedback form.

Are you still donating $10 for each ribbon displayed?
No. We’ve reached our goal of $10,000, but are keenly interested in spreading Alzheimer’s awareness through our web ribbon.

How did the $10 donation work?
Caring.com contributed $10 to the Alzheimer’s Association for each unique website or blog, up to 1,000 unique websites or blogs, that displayed the ribbon in accordance with our terms of use.

How did you validate that the ribbon was displayed?
Caring.com creates a unique tracking number for each ribbon that is created. A user must paste the ribbon on their website and click through on the ribbon at least once for us to register that the ribbon is active.
