Does Yasmin birth control cause cervical cancer?

Yasmin birth control has not been proven to cause cervical cancer. There is however a warning that women who already have cervical cancer should not take Yasmin. Taking Yasmin does have other adverse effects though such as increasing your risk of heart attack and stroke although this happening is rare. You should always talk to your doctor about your medical history before starting any form of birth control pill.
