When was ovarian cancer discovered?
As I mentioned in another answer on who discovered ovarian cancer, I haven't seen anything on when ovarian cancer was discovery specifically, but there's an interesting History of Cancer page on the Medicine World website that has some general information.
There's also an interesting page about the History of the Division of Gynecologic Pathology on the Johns Hopkins Pathology website that talks about the Gynecologic Pathology Laboratory at their hospital, beginning in 1893.
Can anybody add to this info about when ovarian cancer was discovered for us?
