Humira (adalimumab) is a "tumor necrosis factor" (TNF) blocker and is used to treat several types of arthritis, psoriasis, Crohn's Disease, and Ankylosing Spondylitis. It is administered by subcutaneous injection. Remicade is also a TNF blocker used for the same diseases. However, it is administered intravenously. Both medications suppress the immune system.
