Stage 2 of leukemia is involvement of two or more lymph node groups on the same side of the diaphragm which presents a thin muscle located below the lungs. Here the blood and lymph nodes are overloading with lymphocytes and also the liver and spleen are swollen. Stage 2 is treated with observation, with a clinical trial treatment, with chemotherapy radiation therapy, or a combination of all these methods.
