available in the US. However, the i-pill I think you are referring to is made by a company called Philips, and currently it contains no drugs. It is now sold as a diagnostic device, since it contains a tiny camera that you swallow, and it takes pictures of your GI system as you digest it (you would eventually defecate it out). In the future, Philips is hoping to add drugs ito the pill so that they can be released by the tablet at specific areas in your GI tract, which would have many advantages.
