What can I do to help my wife? She has COPD, however the doctor's have not found anything to help her. Oxygen does not help and I think she has had every breathing devise made in a plastic container. She sometimes verbally says she wishes it was all over and I am afraid she will do something desperate. She has attacks where she is unable to breathe and sits there trying to get her breath. She can not sleep laying down and she has to sleep with three pillows propping her up in an almost sitting position. It is hard for me but it is much harder for her. I want to help somehow but I just don't know what to do.
