Hello Our daughter, who is 11 years old, has mild epilepsy. It is pretty much under control, thank goodness. The doctor has actually weened her off her meds since it has been almost 10 months sincer her last episode. But here lately, she has been very clumsy, moreso than usual. She is a kid I tell myself. But she ALWAYS manages to bump her head somehow. On her desk at school, tripping in the hallway and bumping into the wall, things like that. She always hollars, I'M OKAY!! ;) But now she complains of major headaches, "floaties" in her eyes. They vary in color, size and area. She has ringing in her ears, she is pretty pale though she plays outside when the weather allows and always has a slight fever, about 99.7* She asked if we could take her to the doc so she can have an MRI! She has had a few over the years for diagnosing the epilepsy. At school, they had a class talking about diseases. She came home and told me that she has 3 of the 4 signs of Leukemia!!!!!!!!!!! And she does in general. When we take her to the doc, we are mostly dismissed as being over protective. ANy thoughts out there???????? Please...I need some answers or thoughts. Thank you so much.
