What are the signs of stomach cancer?
My mom had so much cancer that the doctors didn't know where it originated when she finally agreed to go in. The largest mass was in her lower intestine (completely blocking) and I remember her saying at least a couple years before that she said she became allergic to dairy because it gave her an upset stomach and cramps (her self diagnosis we didn't know). The cramps came more often and she lost weight without dieting but she always blamed eating something and that she was happy to lose weight because her appetite was less so she should be losing weight. She hid a lot of symptoms from the family because she thought she could take care of it herself. We didn't know she wasn't telling her doctor things hurt inside or that she thought she had allergies (it wasn't allergy, it was cancer). She died two weeks after being diagnosed terminal. The cancer burst her spleen, blocked her intestine and she had two masses on her liver. Early diagnosis might have made better quality of life or even prevented the metastic cells from taking over. My suggestion is to ask lots of questions about what doesn't feel good and where and make sure the doctor knows these things. Also, when hurting doesn't go away take is seriously and get checked out.
