Question
We have had shared guardianship of my grandson with my daughter since his birth. We also claim him on our taxes as a dependent so he is eligible for our insurance, since my daughter doesn't have any and the father is not in our grandson's life nor does he pay any support and does not wish to be. My daughter wishes to claim him on her taxes for the tax break. Will this make him ineligible for our insurance, even though we still have shared guardianship?
