An anonymous caregiver asked...
I saw Andy Cohen on Maria's CNBC WSJ broadcast Sunday morning, August 2nd on channel 4 out of NYC.
My dad suffered a stroke about 10 days ago, fortunately while close to a good medical facility. He is a federal administrative judge and former high ranking naval officer, but he hasn't shared any of his financial/health financed details with anyone in our family.
I recall from Andy's interview that he knows how to check what funding is available; Cohen even mentioned something about the navy and a patient. Would such coverage through the military/government be available for a retiree for using civilian places, like Burke Rehabilitation in White Plains, NY, or only military facilities. How do I find out any of this stuff? It'd be great to get live people on the phone to answer such questions. Thanks!
JJ
