Can testicular cancer be sarcoma?
I wondered about testicular cancer and sarcoma, too. From what I understand, sarcoma is a type of cancerous tumor that develops from muscle, fat, lymph vessels, peripheral nerves, fibrous tissue, blood vessels, and other tissues. They are named according to where they start; a sarcoma that comes from bone is called osteosarcoma and one that comes from fat is called liposarcoma, for example.
I believe sarcoma can develop just about anyplace in the body, but the most common places for them to develop in adults are the legs and arms, followed by the uterus and heart, then the chest and back. I don't believe that testicular cancer and sarcoma are out of the question, though.
