Can you survive bladder cancer?
I am answering this because I see that you have no response and I hope that you have found a few answers since you first posted. The answer is yes, you can survive. My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 bladder cancer, had an operation (they removed his bladder, and replaced it with a section of his small instestine), and chemotherapy. He is happy, healthy, and working strong today. Move quickly, and get a good doctor who is experienced with this type of cancer. My husband's original doctor (urologist) had treated bladder cancer before, but he said that this type was quite rare and referred us to a more experienced urology cancer specialist. We were grateful beyond words. I learned quite a bit about how to help my husband on the bladder cancer web cafe (blcwebcafe.org)especially in the beginning. By the way his type of bladder cancer was rare and he made it. Don't give up hope.
