In it's early stages there are not many types of symptoms effecting the patient and they usually seem normal. Problems such as indigestion and stomach ache, bloating after eating, mild nausea, loss of appetite and heartburn are about as dramatic as they get, which makes the disease difficult to catch in it's early stages as they are also symptoms for other problems like a peptic ulcer. More advanced stomach cancer can cause upper and mid level abdominal pain, bloody stools, vomiting food or blood, weight loss and bloating or pain in the stomach after eating. Unfortunately, by the time this stage of the disease has been diagnosed, the tumor would have grown very large.
