Oral experimental drugs include UFT. UFT is a combination of tegafur with uracil. This drug slows down rapid metabolisation in the plasma and tumor tissue. Another drug is S-1, this drug has been used in Japan and now just being tested by the US. Capecitabine is a drug to reduce the toxicity of the fluropyrimidine.
