Can snus cause mouth cancer?
Snus is a tobacco product that originated in Sweden according to Wikipedia, which says that snus are a variant of snuff which is dry and inhaled, while snus are moist and placed under the upper lip for consumption. A 1985 study by the Wold Health Organization found that snus are carcinogenic; however other studies have not found carcinogenic effects in Swedish and Norwegian versions. Some studies have found a link between the use of snus and increased risk for pancreatic cancer, however a definitive link between the use of snus and risk of developing oral cancer has not been found.
